Living
the Great Commandment
We
strive for health and happiness, wisdom and wealth.
Along the way we experience hurts and heartaches,
traumas and tragedies. However, when we get a grip
on the realities of life, is there anything more
important than our relationships with God and other
people?
To
help you focus on what's important, Linda
encourages you to live Jesus' Great Commandment -
"'You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart, with all your soul, and with
all your mind.' This is the first and great
commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall
love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Matthew 22:37-39 (NKJV)
With
a friendly, open approach, Linda blends vibrant
stories and dry humor. As a speaker, she delights
in pointing you to the Bible for answers to your
questions about attitudes and actions in
relationships. As a workshop teacher, she enjoys
helping you express yourself in notes, letters and
journals. As an author, she finds satisfaction in
writing magazine articles and books for you to
read.
Linda
has years of experience searching the Bible for
answers to questions about relationships-including
those with her husband, Jim; her son, Ty; and her
daughter-in-law, Anna.

Presentations
by Linda:
Loving
God
To
Do vs. To Be
".
. .what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do
justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with
thy God?" Micah 6:8 (KJV) Does your "To Do"
list rule your day-and ruin your disposition? Take
a moment to hear how Linda leaned on God while
learning to identify what's important in life. Get
unshackled from your "To Do" list-and learn to live
in the freedom of your "To Be" list.
(50-90
minutes.) Help another become the woman God created
her to be while she is attending your retreat,
leadership conference, marriage workshop or Mothers
of Preschoolers program.
God's
Desires-Your Dreams
"
. . . and, lo, the star, which they saw in the
east, went before them, till it came and stood over
where the young child was." Matthew 2:9 (KJV)
Do you feel adequate to fulfill God's plan in your
life? Listen for your own story as Linda shares how
a children's book taught her the meaning of the
Star of Bethlehem and the value of accepting God's
transforming call on her life. You, too, can know
the passion and power of fulfilling God's
purposes.
(30-50
minutes.) Help others realize their dreams-whether
they are attending women's retreats, luncheons or
conferences, Christmas programs or writers
conferences.
The
Highway of Holiness-A Woman's Guide to the High
Road
"And
an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall
be called The way of holiness . . ." Isaiah
35:8 (KJV) On your journey through life, which road
will you choose? The low road-or the high road?
Linda will take you on a tour through Isaiah 35
where you'll learn that the rude and rebellious are
restrained from entering the Lord's royal road-but
God's redeemed and restored use it to return from
captivity rejoicing. When you set your feet on the
Highway of Holiness, you'll get a glimpse of God's
greatness.
(30-50
minutes.) Bless your attendees at women's retreats
and conferences by helping them take a giant step
toward a future filled with hope and
promise.
Here
Comes the Bride-of Christ
"I
am like a . . . bride with her jewels." Isaiah
61:10b (TLB) Just as a bride prepares for her
wedding day, you'll learn from Linda how to prepare
for your eternal wedding day with Jesus-the
Bridegroom. You'll not become a fruit basket, but
as the fruit of the Spirit ripens you'll be fully
prepared to meet your Bridegroom.
(50-90
minutes.) Tailored for women's retreats and
conferences, whether the programs are geared for
women who are young, silver-haired saints-or
anywhere in between.

Loving
Your Friends and
Neighbors
The
Facets of Friendship-What We Learn in the Bible
about Precious Friendships
"A
friend loveth at all times . . ." Proverbs
17:17 (KJV) Diamonds are a girl's best friend-but
girlfriends are more precious than diamonds. Linda
opens up the Bible, a true treasure chest, to see
how God can design and polish different facets of
friendship out of stony hearts . Place your
friendships in a new setting that captures and
reflects God's inner fire of love through
friendships.
(50-90
minutes.) A gem of a topic for women's retreats,
conferences, luncheons and women ministry
conference breakout sessions.
Expressing
Appreciation - A Building Block to Good
Relationships
"It
is not a letter written with pen and ink, but by
the Spirit of the living God; not one carved on
stone, but in human hearts." 2 Corinthians 3:3
(TLB) One of the building blocks of a solid
relationship is expressing our appreciation to one
another. Linda will share five easy steps and a
simple process so you can write
thank-you-for-being-you notes. You'll draft a note
and take away practical tools to express your
appreciation in writing.
(45
minutes-2 hours.) To achieve remarkable
relationships, this is suitable for Mother's Day,
Father's Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas programs;
for women's conference workshops; lay counselors
training; public, private or homeschool students
(4th grade and up); single-parent or women's
retreats; Letters of Appreciation Week (early
March);or Pastor Appreciation Month
(October).
Ministering
Through Cards & Notes
"As
every man hath received the gift, even so minister
the same one to another, as good stewards of the
manifold grace of God." 1 Peter 4:10 (KJV)
Every card or note is tangible evidence that
someone cares-and can minister to the hopeless and
hurting. Whether you want to involve those with
little-or lots-of time on their hands, the mailman
can be the legs of the disabled, invalids,
stay-at-home moms and professionals alike. Linda
encourages you to involve more members in
ministering to others through cards and notes.
(45-90
minutes.) At last there's a practical solution for
involving those on the fringe. Geared for women's
retreats, women's ministry conferences,
organizations for people with disabilities, or
Mothers of Preschoolers groups.
Getting
the Most by Giving Your Best
".
. . be eager to give them your very best . . ."
Ephesians 6:5 (TLB) Are you hoarding your best for
a "someday" that never comes? With stories about
jelly jars, stationery and lingerie, Linda shares
simple ways you can live a life of excellence.
You'll leave with permission to live a life of no
regrets by learning to give your very best.
(30-90
minutes.) Just right for women's retreats,
luncheons, conference general or breakout
sessions.

Loving
Your Husband
From
the Miserable to the Miraculous - Marriages Made in
Heaven
"Thou
shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy
land any more be termed Desolate: but . . . thy
land (shalt be called ) Beulah: for the LORD
delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be
married." Isaiah 62:4 (KJV) Know anyone whose
marriage has slid downhill from honeymoon-to
hassles-to hatred? Linda learned to persist in
marriage despite differences in personalities,
perceptions and philosophies. You, too, can learn
the prayers Jesus always answers-so you can stay
married until you and your spouse fall in love
again.
(30-90
minutes.) A perfect match for women's retreats and
marriage conference breakout
sessions.
Staying
Faithful When We Don't Feel Like It
"Who
can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far
above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely
trust in her . . ." Proverbs 31:10-11 (KJV)
Only in fantasy land will a husband ever fulfill
all of his wife's needs. The best no-nonsense
advice Linda's mom gave her was, "Never, never,
NEVER have an affair." You, too, can bear the fruit
of faithfulness in marriage.
(30-60
minutes.) Practical straight-talk for women's
retreats, singles retreats and marriage
conferences.

Loving
Your Children
The
Power of Praying Scripture
"So
shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void, but it shall
accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah
55:11 (KJV) What can we do when our loved ones are
experiencing dangerous situations, desperate
searches, and disappointing setbacks? Linda learned
to pray Psalm 91 when her son was deployed to a war
zone. You, too, can know the power of praying
Scripture for your loved ones.
(30-50
minutes.) This is an answer to your prayers for a
topic for women's retreats, women's conference
general session or breakout session, parenting and
single-parenting retreats and conferences, or
couples retreats and conferences.
Letting
Go - Trusting God with Your Children
"To
every thing there is a season, and a time to every
purpose under the heaven . . ." Ecclesiastes
3:1 (KJV) Why is it so hard for us at times to let
our children soar on their own wings? Linda shares
insights from 1 Samuel 1-2, where we can learn from
Hannah how we, too, can pray our hearts, present
our children, and praise our God. Whether we're
releasing their pudgy little fingers when they take
their first wobbly steps or we're giving young
adults a push and a prayer as they leave the nest,
now is the time for letting go-and trusting God
with our children.
(30-50
minutes.) A timeless topic for Mother's Day
services, Mother-Daughter banquets, Mothers of
Preschooler meetings, parenting or single-parenting
conferences.
